COVID Guidance:
Please monitor your child for symptoms and have them stay home if they are experiencing any of the following symptoms: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea.
Please contact your healthcare provider if you have any additional questions or concerns regarding COVID-19.
Reporting Guidelines:
If your child tests positive for covid, please notify your coach by phone or text.
The coach will notify the safety officer, who will notify the rest of the exposed group while maintaining as much privacy as possible.
BLFLL Return to Play Procedures:
If the team has been exposed by a positive coach or teammate, all team activities through day 5 after exposure are cancelled.
To return to play from day 6 to day 10, a participant will need to test negative on day 5 or 6. Those who need an at-home covid test can receive one from the league.
Those who choose not to test and are symptom free, may return to play after day 10.
If a participant has been exposed at home, they may not participate in team activities until testing negative after day 10.
Any questions about our league guideline can be sent to our Safety Officer, Jennifer Mager.
