Here's what a typical season looks like for our league:
Season Dates
Player Registration - January and February
Player Assessment (for those wanting to play player pitch levels): Early March
Practice Begins: begins in April
Games: Begin early to mid April and go through early June.
Post-season Tournaments: There is a tournament at the end of the season for Player pitch levels. All-Stars for 9-12 year olds are late June.
Practices & Games
T-Ball for ages 4-6 practices for one hour during the week. One game Saturday morning where everyone bats. No outs or runs are kept.
Minor B Coach Pitch for ages 6-7 practices twice a week before games begin, then meet 2-3 times a week for practice or games with McKinleyville and Arcata teams. Score is not kept.
Minor A Player Pitch for ages 8-10 practices three times a week before games begin, then meet 3 times a week for practice or games with McKinleyville and Arcata teams. Outs, score and pitch count all matter.
